Bricks

I started bricks this weekend to get ready for a race at the end of April. My recommendation is to be careful not to race bricks every weekend. Bricks can sap your strength and we need to save our bullets for race day. I typically rotate strong bikes with easy runs. Then the next weekend hard bikes with easy run. As race day nears, I typically will do longer bikes with shorter runs that are high quatlity alternating the next week with longer easier runs and a shorter TT bike like 10 to 15 miles.
